Keyless Drill Chuck Adapter Set
Give a compatible hex-drive tool a convenient way to hold drill bits. This compact adapter set combines a 1/4-inch hex shank with a keyless chuck you can tighten by hand.
Insert the adapter into a compatible 1/4-inch hex holder for a quick-change connection.
Turn the outer sleeve by hand to open or close the jaws around the drill bit.
Keep a compact chuck for fine bits and a larger chuck for bigger bit shanks.

Two useful chuck sizes
A compact chuck and a larger chuck let you match the adapter to the job. The larger model accommodates bit shanks up to 8 mm.

Built around the essentials
Carbon steel construction and hardened jaws form the core of the chuck. The textured outer sleeve gives your fingers a place to grip when tightening or releasing a bit.

At home in the workshop
Use an appropriate drill bit and a compatible tool to prepare pilot holes, work on wooden parts or handle other small drilling tasks around the home.
See the adapter in action
Watch the original demonstrations of fitting the adapter, changing a bit and putting the setup to work.

A straightforward setup
Make each bit change part of a clear, repeatable routine.
With the tool stopped, rotate the outer sleeve counterclockwise to widen the opening.
Insert a suitable bit shank evenly into the jaws, within the chuck’s marked range.
Rotate the sleeve clockwise until the jaws hold the bit firmly.
Give the bit a gentle tug, then run the tool at low speed to check that the bit is centered.
